First jeep bought used (new to me) in May
of 2005. Bought it with 31s and a
hardtop. Bought some Rock Crawler wheels
and mounted the same 31s on it. Next was
a 2.25" BB. Ran that for 2 years and
later upgraded to 33x12.50 baja claws.
Got a heck a deal from a forum member.
Came across several good deals on RE
springs, JKS trackbars, better streetable
tires (new bfg a/t for $149 per tire,
mounted/balanced).
Bought some shocks
to go with my springs. Had horrible death
wobble from the trackbar axle mount hole
wallowing out. redrilled that to
1/2" and also got a new bushing with
a different sized sleeve. Upgraded
steering to compensate for the death
wobble. Went with a JCR 1-ton
setup.
Installed a Taurus Electric
Fan.
That is about it up until now.
