My 3rd Jeep Wrangler: 2008 JK X, 2 dr,
with the upgraded 17" wheels, power
windows/locks (which I was very against
getting but now that I have them they are
really convenient!), cruise control,
satellite radio, cloth seats, fog lights,
and tow hooks. The power sucks compared
to the 4.0 engine, but eventually I will
get a cold air intake and a chip. Other
than that, I think I will keep this stock
for awhile. Oh and yes, I traded in my
2007 Mustang GT in on this!!! And I
really have NO regrets. ;) This was my
second Jeep Wrangler! They are sure
addicting... I started out not that long
ago with a 2002 TJ, yellow, 5-speed, 4cyl
and loved it (although it was very
underpowered in my opinion!). I basically
bought it as a winter vehicle as my
Mustang just doesn't do well in the snow.
Obviously. So I decided to sell it and
look for a 4.0. Then this last March 08 I
found a 2001 TJ, Patriot blue, 5-speed,
Dana 44, AC, cruise, and 30" BFG
tires. I have learned a ton about the
Jeep and have done quite a few little
modifications to it. This Jeep doesn't
appear to be abused in the past, but I
wouldn't say it was a cherry garage queen
either. I used some Rustoleum
undercoating for the frame. The front
diff was leaking so I got that fixed
pretty easy. Other than that, it runs
pretty strong and I have thoroughly
enjoyed it!! I have added Rubicon
wheels and tires, Hurst shift ball, brush
guard, tube side steps, bikini top....
