My first Jeep was a 1986 CJ7. Taught me a
whole lot about Jeeps and their
maintenance and nuances. Then I got a 2001
TJ...wow! what a difference. Then, I got a
1997 TJ 4 cylinder. It was SEVERELY
underpowered for any freeway use. Next, I
got a 1996 XJ 4.0L...I was pleasantly
surprised by the quality of the vehicle.
Finally, I am now the proud owner of my
1989 4.2L Jeep Wrangler YJ Base Model. I
love it.
I am in love with the JEEP
and what a JEEP stands for. Its deep
rooted in US History with its rich
heritage in military service with all
branches of service. Being a service
member myself, I feel that owning a Jeep
somehow connects me to all my brothers in
arms of years and generations past. I love
my Jeep and all the Jeeps I have owned in
the past. I will always own a Jeep no
matter how rich or poor I may be.
