ABOUT ME
Senior in High School, people
think I am nuts for spending money
on my Jeep. I tell them it's a
Jeep thing, they wouldn't
understand

Well I have always thought Jeeps were
cool, and before this car I drove a junk
bucket 92 Ford Explorer, the 4wd didnt
work, the power steering didnt work,
everything was rusted. The only nice thing
was the Eddie Bauer package which had
leather and power everything. I got sick
of it and started looking around and found
a 96 XJ for sale in a local buy/sell
magazine. I followed it up and purchased
it soon after. Stock 1996 Jeep Cherokee
with HO 4.0 and 188k miles. They were
mostly highway miles and the previous
owner kept good care of it. I got for a
steal of $1,000. It could easily have
sold for 2k but for whatever reason she
sold it for less. Now I am on my way to
making a trail capable jeep but within
reason because its a daily driver.
