This was my grandfathers 1967 Jeepster
Convertible. He used it to pull the
trailer to Silverton and Ouray a few times
a year to go wheelin back in the 60's
-70's. It is one of his many jeeps. My
dad has owned several Jeeps in his
lifetime as well. We all still went
wheelin with my gradnparents, uncle aunt
and cousins, and folks in Colorado once a
year until I went into the Navy in '96.
The rest of the family went when they
could until my grandfather passed away a
few years back. I bought a 97 TJ, and
tore the hell out of it. Sold it in 2003
when I had my son. Have been jeepless
until recently when I purchased this from
his estate. A lot of memories and
sentimental value are tied into this Jeep.
Especially older jeeps. I was in no way
happy really with my 1997 TJ. It wasn't a
Jeep, it was a Chysler!!!! Not a very
good one either. :) Had to give some
ribbing....honestly, every Jeep is a work
of art in it's own way.
