You're most welcome. If you see where any further help with those tubes may be needed...shout.

Yes it will be a project.... And what I say by missing parts is stuff like the cold air duct and the hot air tube, grommets for the valve cover, the bolts for the top of the valve cover. I do know it needs a new oil cap (the one on there has cardboard between the rubber and the cap??) there are hoses and cables not attached to anything.. ARG...
Anywho, the jeep was a unwanted aquire from a relative.
We'll see what happens.. :)

I'm glad you got it fixed.. They are hard enough to handle working let alone adding screwed up steering... We have a 1984 CJ7,5 speed, a 3 inch lift (i think)... needs work and I'm locating quite a bit of missing parts due to the prior owner. So I'm doing Jeep Repair 101. (I hated school...) lol.

Thanks. I'll probably wind up having to do all that to, but first I'm just replacing the parts where the play is visible.

Actually I have a lot if play in mine too, but there wa some before I lifted it so I can't tell yet if the lift made it worse. I'm going to put a new power steering box in and all new joints in the steering column and then I might be able to answer your question accurately. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Haha yea I usually try to take pics throughout a project and I actually did have about 15-20 of the holes that had to be fixed and floorpans that I replaced but they were taken with another phone so I don't have em anymore. Kinda sucks but oh well.
