JEEP HISTORY
This is my first Jeep and I Love it. I
bought it 3 years ago in Santa Cruz, Ca. I
am the 3rd owner. The first owner was a
Nation Park Ranger outside of Yosemite
National Park (this was his drive to work
car...NOT his work car). The second owner
was a Punk Rocker Turned
Priest/Professional Musician. Senseless
triva but I thought it was interesting.**I
bought it while traveling in Ca. after my
Mazda B2600i 4x4 (second love) slowly
died. I have had pickups and cars but
never a Jeep until now. I instantly feel
in love w/it. VERY powerful, very
spacious/versatile, AWESOME in the
snow/light offroad and it has been
virtually bomb proof thus far. I love it's
rugged, strong feel and to me it handles
great. I am a carpenter by trade and i too
can load it w/tools, wood, or anything I
need to it seems. Then I can also take my
3 lil bro's and sis comfortably anywhere I
need to. It is stock and that seems to be
good enough for me, although I did get
some nasty dirt diggin tires for the rear
recently. It goes great in mud and
comfortable on a recent trip to Vermont. I
do all the basic maintence tasks and
constantly check it over (the best I can)
to make improvements whereever I can. I
recently replaced a worn out U-joint and
it feels like a brand new transmission. I
drive it lightly and never beat it yet I
love to crawl thru some small obstacles in
the woods as needed. I may be a Jeep owner
for life, we will have to see If I upgrade
w/a new model and it still
appeals......but in all, this Cherokee
Laredo has def. put the hook in me.
