basically my mom wanted a jeep when i was
eight and my dad and i went to Collins
Bros Jeeps in Texas and bought a CJ7 and
ran out of gas on the test drive. when my
parents divorced he "got the jeep,
she got the palace". we spent our
time putting a new engine in the jeep and
fixing it up because that was all my dad
had. he was having to drive to CT alot for
court from dallas and that was his ride.
when my dad finally was able to move back
home, my brothers and i moved in with him.
at this time he had another vehicle and a
home with nothing in it. i was the
youngest of three and when my oldest
brother turned 16 he drove it for a year
then the next brother then me. i carried a
tool bag with me to fix it when i broke
down and drove it everywhere. i have since
joined the airforce and bought a 97
wrangler, had to sell it when i got
married, then got a 88 YJ got rid of it
for some reason. i have talked my dad into
giving me CJ7 to fix up since it is in
storage at home. it has been in the family
now for 13 years and my dad would seel
everything else before he sold that thing.
i am a diehard jeep fan because of this
life.
