I had a 1995 2WD Cherokee SE (2dr) with a
4.0L straight 6 cylndr engine that was
given to me by stepmother that had 183,000
miles on it when I got it. Drove it for a
couple of years til alot of things started
going wrong in a short amount of time -
new AC blower motor, O-2 sensor, water
pump, idler pulley and then last but not
least, the radiator, electric fan and
thermostat - a week before I was planning
on getting rid of it - an $800.00 bill
that I was none too pleased with. But it
served me well the 2 years I had it and it
was good to my stepmother as well. I
traded it in in early February 2011 for
the 2008 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 (Rocky
Mountain Edition) I have now, which had
just over 31,000 miles on it when I bought
it. It has the 5-speed W5A580 automatic
transmission and Quadra-Trac 1 Full-Time
4wd, electronic stability control and four
wheel traction control.
