My story starts when My dad bought a jeep
that was supposed to be for me and my mom
to use as a toy. Being a manly man he fell
in love with it and claimed it as his own!
(he marked his territory by peeing on all
the tires and sticking Harley stickers all
over it; joking!) So... when my V8
explorer bit the dust (as I've found out
all explorers eventually do having blown
up 2 of them) I figured it was time for me
to have my dream car! I just got my
Black 2000 TJ wth 48K mi on October 28th
2008 and have been in love with it ever
since! I've never owned a vehicle where I
actually want to learn how to modify it
and play with it like this!. I'm currently
working on a butt kicking stereo system,
I have installed a console, and purchased
a steering stabilizer (never bought a car
part myself in my life!) I plan on doing
so much more! Its so addicting! I have
managed to turn my new toy into what my
mom referrs to as a "Barbie
Jeep" (had one of those when i was
little lol) I painted various pieces like
the front tow hooks and fog light grills
pink! I also did something that I didn't
think was a big deal but everywhere I go
people never hesitate to stare and make a
comment about the pink lettering on my
tires. Yes i sat and painted the letters
on my tires bright pink lol. I have gotten
nothing but positive responses about those
tires! I have had people ask where did I
buy them and one man said his daughter
would go nuts over tires like mine :) The
reason I did this to my jeep was solely to
make it look similar to my 2004 HD
sporster which is also Black and Pink! I
figured I got it right with my bike. I won
a trophy for it. Why not do it to my Jeep?
I'm working on a match set lol. I live
really close to wharton state forrest so
I, of course, have tested out the Jeep on
some trails and have gotten her completely
covered in mud many many times! Loving
