| | JeepDoo 03/04/2009 12:05 PM What gears do u have right now?
The ideal setup for 33s is 4.10.
Some people like 4.56. You can
deal with 3.73, but if u have
stock 3.07 then 5th gear will b
useless. This is all assuming u
have 4.0L and 5 speed stick. |

| | JeepDoo 03/03/2009 6:57 PM 4" lift kits are actually pretty
simple, there's not much else you
need to do to it. Just make sure
the kit comes with: extended sway
bar links, a transfer case drop
kit, and longer shocks. Then if
you get bigger tires you should
think about re-gearing your axles
for better performance. The only
concern is that the transfer case
drop kit will loose you a lot of
ground clearance, and even with it
there is still a very steep angle
on your driveline. To be safe you
should invest in a SYE conversion
and a CV style driveshaft. There's
a bunch of threads around the
forum on lifting your jeep so
check em out. Good luck! |
