I got my 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited
in 2002. I got into jeeps because I keep
taking my '90 ram van out into the desert
and having to dig it out. Not that it
was'nt fun, just I wanted to spend less
days shoveling.
Its a limited so it came
with 4wd all the time, it's 4wd, neutral,
or 4wd lo and those are the only otpions
on my transfer case (Yes the np249 love it
or hate it).
So since then my jeep has
been to Mojave eight or nine times, Anza
borrego five times, a trip into Mexico,
lots of trips to Joshua Tree, Death
Valley once or twice, Four Burningman
festivals in the Black Rock desert in
nevada, some random visits up the west
coast to see the redwoods and sequioa,
Zion in Utah, and Sedona in Arizona.
Its
got; a basic 2" lift with longer
springs. 31" tires. A custom welded
rack. A custom welded hitchmount dual gas
can holder and spare tire swing (w/ a
hitch). 4 highpower driving lights. The
short version of the grill guard. K& N
aftermarket air intake. I also have a
water based hydrogen cell to offset my
fuel expenses ( I highly recomed
this).
I've had all kinds of maintenance
over the years. Last september I rebuilt
(with some help) the trans and the engine.
I could list bull**** I've had to fix all
day. But she's really like a rock.
Here's
the pics of installing the Hydrogen
Cell:
