It's a long story (I bet everyone Jeep
story is long).
First of all, I remember
watching "Weird Science" (a TV
series from the 90's) there was a
beautiful CJ-5 drove by Chett Donnelly. My
Dad first Jeep that I have memory, was an
XJ Wagoneer 84, V6 2.8L, Automatic with
4x4. Then for my 17 birthday he gave me
his utility Jeep Cherokee 93 4.0 HO, STD
trans with no 4x4. It was an awsome
vehicle, I enjoy riding it every day,
since we sold it. Then my dad buy 97 XJ
from an uncle, beautiful jeep green most
Contry package, the only problems, it was
automatic and no 4x4. After 4 years
without any Jeep in the family. I decide
to get an old one and repairing it. I go
to craigslist and I found and Old 1986
CJ-7 Near from where I live, 168 miles;
the price was reasonable: the seller was
asking $900, and I paid $800. Runs
perfectly, I was RUSTED from button to the
top. First I need to work on breaks,
changing lines,calipers,brakes and the
fluid distribuitor. Then, I go to my local
mechanics he oil the axles and changing
the disk breakes. After 4 months that I
have my CJ it still been in the
auto-repair shop. And me doing the
removing of the paint and doing every
posible thing to put the fenders, grill,
dash, doors, LIKE NEW
