JEEP HISTORY
I started out with an '81 Toyota long bed
and enjoyed the hell out of it but wanted
the same capability but be able to carry 4
people. I bought an '84 Cherokee because I
didn't know any better then ran through an
'89 and a '91 over a 10 year period. Now
that I'm divorced and it's only my son and
I we now have an 89 Wrangler.
Circumstances were such that I had 3 days
to buy a replacement to my xj that broke,
we found this 4 cyl. yj and have been
'finishing' it. Finished will be with 4.56
gears (done!), stereo upgrade (done!),
ability to carry our 17' sailing canoe
(done!) and later a/c. We are building for
expedition style I guess you could say.
Some light to intermediate four wheeling
and a daily driver that will be my son's
in a couple of years. Boo Ya!
