My jeep history started with riding in my
dad's grand wagoneer at age 6. We've owned
an 84 XJ, 89 XJ, 95 XJ, 99 XJ, 95 ZJ, and
a 01 WJ.
I'm currently drivin an 05 TJ.
My first REAL jeep and lovin it.
(:
Started out by buyin' the TJ stock,
used. Bought some used Skyjacker 2.5"
coils and Nitro 8000 shocks, 33s and front
and rear bumper and winch. I soon got
tired of the rough ridin' Skycracker stuff
and got Bilstein shocks and Rock Krawler
coil with some Rough Country track bars
and sway bar discos. I also did a Zone
1.25 body lift at the same time. Plain and
simple start to the build.
I got tired
of havin' 6 gears and only usin' 5, so I
regeared. I went from 3.07s to 4.88s, a
big hop, skip and jump from
3.07s..!
Bein' locked has been my dream,
so I bought a Yukon Spartan locker for the
rear D35 and loved it ever since.
I added
little details here and there, like
Herculiner for the front half of the tub,
which isn't too bad. Wanted to up the
power a bit, so got the Edge Trailjammer
package and CAI from AEM.
1/29/12, I hit
black ice and slide into a pole. I thought
the poor TJ was done for, but alas! it was
not. 8,000 dollars later, I got fresh
paint and Smittybilt XRC flat front
fenders.
3/19/12, recieved my rear
flat fenders and rock sliders. Need to do
some body work and get those sliders on..!
Also, switched to 35" Goodyear MTRs
and 16" wheels. Lovin' it..! Bring on
the tie rod setup from Currie.
4/21/12,
Installed 30 spline Yukon Chrome-Moly
shafts and Eaton E-Locker in the front
Dana 30. Love it..!
