95 ZJ is my first Jeep, 2X4 so it's just
for around town.
We are no longer on
speaking terms.
My second was a 91
Wrangler YJ, just for the trails (don't
worry about the paint).
It was my first
trail run - a night run- the day I bought
the Wrangler that the sway bar came off
and the fun started.
Just bought a 98
TJ with 31" tires. Planning the
upgrades as soon as I take care of the
mundane parts. :)
** Painted the
interior from Grey to Beige using Krylon
fusion for plastic. HINT: Do not paint
the grab handle with Krylon, use soft
fabric paint instead.
** Just added 2
1/4" BB and shocks. Easy
upgrade.
** Working on stuff - fixing
squeaks - grease gun, lithium, and PB
Blaster!!
** Did the cheap sway bar
disco. Works great (7/16" clevis
bolt )
** Put on some off road lights
including all the wiring. PITA to get the
wires inside!
** Started my OBA build.
Lots of research on this and other forums.
I'll put a build thread in the forum

Spent the weekend trying to get the disks off the ZJ,
but no such luck.
Why does everything have to be a problem. Bolts that
won't turn, even with PB Blaster, is my biggest pet
peeve, not to mention how ratchets almost fit where you
need them most, or my favorite about how no extension
is to short and small extension is too long.
At least I have an excuse to buy more tools!
So I'm thinking that maybe I did myself a favor by not
putting the disks on. Now I can plan for a better axle
than the DANA 35C....
