Feel as if I've been Jeeping forever. My
first was a 57 Willys Wagon, had a 216
cuin Chevy in it when I got it, decided
that wasn't going to work, bought a 260 SB
Ford, made my own engine mounts. Sold it
for a family car. Next was an 86 CJ-7
which I slowly built up. 4" lift,
35" tired, Dyanatrak reverse cut 60
with an Ox locker and a 44 up front
running a detroit. Broke a couple t-5,
bought myself a new Dodge NV4500 . . .
Really loved that Jeep, after a divorce I
was headed north to visit friends in north
Idaho, hit black ice at 70+, rolled half a
dozen times. Spent a week in the body
shop, eventually sold the Jeep for parts,
sad. This new one . . . Well what can I
say? It's an LJ, black, with a 4"
rough country lift & 35" Pro Comp
Mudders. Ordered me a Tom Woods double
cardan drive shafts.
