Funny you ask, I've only had the
Super 35 for a couple of weeks, it
seems OK. I had a minor carrier
preload setup that's getting fixed
as we speak, but other than that
it was an easy decision. I paid
about $1k for the kit, and another
$500 in set up and a small ARB
compressor, and to build a
comparable D44 or 8.8 was at least
another $1000 on top of that
(cromo axles, ARB, stuff to run
ARB).
I wouldn't run 40's on a D44 or an
8.8, and to me 40's are the next
step after 35's. Everyone finds a
different setup works for them,
and you have to weight cost vs.
strength vs. fab ability and
decide which axle is best for you.
