JEEP HISTORY
Bought my XJ new in 1995. Got bitten by
the offroad bug soon afterwards and
haven't stopped modifying it since them.
Met my wife offroading in the fall of
2000. She was offroading in her TJ, and I
was out in my XJ, we met up and as they
say, they rest is history!

Hadn't been on JF in a few months before today. Still looks like you're running the drop bracket setup?

Looks like I'll be picking up another XJ at the end of this week. Not quite sure what I'm going to be doing as far as mods on this one, but I still have a few of the suspension parts from the old build so I may be running something similar again :)

Anyway, hope to hear from you Jason. Hope business has been going well :)

Thanks for the info. None of the links worked even when I copied and pasted them, lol, but thanks anyway. How are the smooth plates mounted? tape? And are yours riveted or screwed in, or is that just aesthetic? I suppose it would be pretty easy to just drill holes in the plates and self tap them maybe? Thanks again.

Nate

Hey man, hows it going? I was just just checkin out the forum and noticed a pic of your XJ and was wondering where bought your side plates at. I thought it might have been jeepoutfitters.com hence all the stickers but only found some diamond plate ones. Thanks bro.

The yellow one? I'm pretty sure. I think you're actually the one that linked me to it a few months ago. I like that one also. The cage design on this one is what is appealing to me. Saki669's follows the original XJ body lines a lot more. This one doesn't do that so much, in the back anyway :)

Looks like I'll be chopping the top off the Jeep and caging it. Just waiting on time and money right now.

This XJ has given me inspiration
