JEEP HISTORY
I Just bought a 2004 Jeep Wrangler
Rubicon. It came with a 5 1/2" RE
lift, 35" BFG MTs, 5:13 gears, heavy
duty drive shafts, heavy duty U-joints,
winch, swing out tire carrier/bumper,
Singer front bumper, rock sliders and CB
radio. It came equip with a hard top and
full doors, Alpine sound system and Hellia
lights. My first Jeep was a 1985 CJ7
that I lifted 4" and put 33" mud
terrain tires on Extreme Alloy wheels. I
went with 4.56's and a Detroit Locker in
the rear and a Loc-Rite in the front. I
changed out the front hubs to Warn's 5
bolt premium hubs. I bought a welder and
built my own rear bumper and tire carrier.
Then I bought a bolt in cage by Rock Hard;
Rocker Guards by 4X Doctor; console by
Tuffy; new seats and seat belts; steering
wheel by Grant; York OBA with help from
Kilby; x8000i winch by Warn; winch guard
by Warn; Breezer bikini top; rear solid
axle upgrade; longer brake hoses etc.
Finally the 258 had so much blow-by and
wouldn’t pass smog inspection that I
decided to put in a 4.0l OBDI engine.
Awesome upgrade. Blew up the T5 tranny.
Installed a Muncie SM465, 4 speed tranny.
Upgraded the fenders to Gen Right tube
fenders that I had Line-X coated. I
installed dual yellow top Optima's with a
battery separator to keep them charged.
It didn't stop there. All the work on my
CJ was done by me. I decided to buy the
Rubicon with all the upgrades complete
because I know what jeep stands for.

This site has really changed. I have not updated anything for over a year.
