| groundhound 09/12/2012 1:44 PM Hey Jerry, I got this from
facebook Jeep. Just in case you
were interested. I think I seen a
post that you had family here in
Phoenix. Just a heads up.

| | wreckless711 01/31/2012 8:09 PM Hey I posted a thread about a
glove box idea. Can you take a
look and see if it sounds familiar
like if someone else has done it
before? Thanks, Mike

| | Jeeper69 11/09/2011 12:01 AM Hey, I'm going to be installing a
PSC Rockbrawler bumper and a Warn
M8000 to my Jeep, will the extra
weight affect anything when it
comes to performance? |
|
| | kevbon4 11/01/2011 9:59 PM Jerry, have you ever heard of
swapping your front springs to the
rear and then purchasing a longer
set for the front
(I believe fronts are about 3")? I
ran into a guy last week and he
was talking something about doing
that... by the way a 97, 98, 99...
rear window fits all the way up to
06 and the retail cost of a 97-02
is about $80 cheaper |
|
| | kevbon4 10/18/2011 8:23 PM Jerry, do you know if the back
glass from a 97-98 is an exact fit
for an 03-06 hardtop? |
|
| | Jeeper69 07/31/2011 10:32 PM Thank you very much sir! I went
with the M8000 because of the
reputation and on Amazon it was
going for 539.99 with a 80 dollar
mail in rebate! Amazing deal! |
|
| | Jeeper69 07/29/2011 10:27 PM Jerry, in your opinion, what's the
difference between the Warn VR8000
and the Warn M8000 winches besides
the significant price difference? |
|
| | kevbon4 03/11/2011 10:10 PM Jerry, how are the waves out
there?
i am getting desperate and I am
looking for some sort of guidance
from the Jeep guru. I am able to
start the Jeep now but it only
runs for a few seconds - during
which it runs very rich. I put an
OBDII teater on it and it has
given me codes such as "purge
canister" and O2 sensor - but the
one that gets me the most is the
code for SKIM failure (P1686)which
I really don't get since I don't
see a transmitter antenna and my
keys do not have chips (I verified
at the dealer) What is the chance
my PCM isn't functioning? I
flashed the pcm by taking the hot
wire from the battery and
grounding it - then turned on the
ignition (but didn't start the
Jeep), turned on the lights off
the lights and then turned off the
ignition. Still no change. I
thought fuel pump - but when the
motor is running I can rev it up
to 4-5,000 or leave it and it
still only runs for a few seconds
- I am totally out of ideas and
stumped...PLEASE HELP! OH GREAT
ONE! |
|
| | kevbon4 03/10/2011 9:13 PM Jerry, I finally figured out what
was wrong with my TJ. IGNITION
SWITCH - hopefully. I figured it
ou by downloading a schematic then
stripped the correct wire and
crossed it with 12 volts...started
right up but only ran for a few
seconds. I am guessing that I
didn't have all of the proper
circuits crossed to keep it
running. I should know tomorrow
once I buy a torx T-8 safety bit
and a new ignition module.
Any thoughts fo what I might be
expecting next?
thanks |

| | steveazoni 03/01/2011 2:41 PM Hey Jerry
I would appreciate any feedback
from you on re gearing my 06' Rubi
to 4.88s and 35s. is that a great
combo for a DD/TR? Thanks in
advance. |

|
| | kevinlanglois22 12/28/2010 11:53 AM Hey, this might sound random,. but
i have been having issues with my

know a lot about.. well
