I bought my first new car and first Jeep
in 1987 when the new Wranglers came out.
I drove that beast for 16 fun-filled
years. {still miss it but circumstances
mandated the sale}
I owned a 1996 GC
Limited for several years that my oldest
son drove while in college.
He just
plain wore that one out so it got traded
for a 2000 Sahara that my youngest son is
now driving.
I saved the original
wheels from the '87, had them black
powder-coated and fitted with 33X10.50
BFG's on a 2" spring block lift {BB}
these kids are expensive!
I had the
flares, and rocker covers coated with
bed-liner mainly just to set it off a
little but it turned out pretty good. The
overall look is interesting.
