JEEP HISTORY
I have always loved Jeeps, especially the
XJ. I sold my economy sedan (96 Accord)
and made my purchase. I haven't regretted
my purchase once, its been a great time
from the start. In 4/09 I purchased a
stock XJ, 5speed, 4.0. I built it up to
33s with a 4.5" lift (and plenty of
other parts). In 2/11 I sold it, and
purchased a 97 ZJ. In 3/12, I bought a
1993 Jeep YJ

Here is a few Pictures of the Frame and Motor
Its a 1984 CJ-7 Frame and a 1979 AMC 304 V-8 using a T-176 4 speed transmission.

The motor was built 2007 around Thanksgiving time and the frame was done in the spring of 2007

We have done alot of other changes around 2008 to clean things up on the frame and Motor since

Body was done this year from the Picts you have seen already

Think doing a build thread would have been good I always enjoy others but Think this build is just Spread out over time to keep an audiance going plus their are alway new Ideas coming to It.

Just got my hands on a CJ-8 Bulkhead and a CJ-8 hardtop
So the tigger Jeep might turn into a SCRAMJ-7 SOON

Hope you enjoy thanks

No I never did a Build thread on my Jeep. My Build has been a very slow Build so far 3 of 4 years now in the making I count them By Tax Season's LOL

This has been my first ever build joined Jeep forum in January 2009

Its been Expensive so far on my build and I only do as much as I can do with as far as money goes with each subject to get this thing back together

As I mean subject I mean

Jeep it self bought $ 800.00
Frame Resto $1000.00
Motor Rebuld $4000.00
Trans Rebuild $1200.00
Body repairs and Fabrications $4000.00
Undercoat (LINEX)$1000.00
Paint Labor and Material $1800.00

Of course their is Much more Invested In Parts here this is just an Estimate It Scares me to know what the running total is

But right now I am Bolting the Body to the Frame
I am just taken my time Hope to have it back together by next summer. The Major stuff is done it reassembly time

Here are a couple of posts I have done and Posted

Here is Paint Pictures thier are more picts on page two of this thread of the Original Jeep and frame
