JEEP HISTORY
My Jeep history actually started with a
Suzuki Samurai. That was my first
vehicle, and I fell in love with the
versatility and the ability to drop the
top and doors (we had modified mine to the
"Jeep doors"). A couple of
years later, I upgraded to a '92 6 cyl 5
spd Wrangler. I had this and loved it
until I went off to college. Then, the
highway trips back and forth caused me to
trade into a fullsize truck. Over the
next several years, I went through several
different vehicles. Finally, after
graduating college, I picked up a cheap,
rusty heap of a 91 4cyl 5 spd wrangler for
a song to have as a second vehicle. It
did not take long until that rust bucket
became the vehicle I was driving most of
the time. Then, I moved from my home in
north Mississippi to New Orleans for a
job. I brought the Jeep with me, but
quickly realized that it was not cut out
to be a daily driver in this area. I
moved up to a '97 TJ 6 cyl 5 spd. I had
this for a couple of years, and came
across a deal on my current Jeep. I now
have a 2005 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon
Sahara Edition. It is the 6 spd model.
This is my only vehicle, and I wouldn't
have it any other way. There is really
nothing else like it.
