ABOUT ME
I bought this YJ about 15 monthes ago wrecked. I just put the body on last weekend 9-08. I had to straigten the frame. I dont think you can really appreciate the strenth of the YJ frame until you attempt to straighten one. Anyway while I had the body off I went ahead and installed a 8.8, shackle reversal kit, and an SYE. I found a solid 4.0 HO out of a 98 grand cherokee which is proving to be a PITA! Not to much into wiring but it should give me some valuble experience since gather from JF that YJ's have a problem with that. I am a single plumber so my money is definitly being absorbed by this thing. After I handed the guy the money for this beast he said "You know JEEP stands for dont you?" I had NO idea!

JEEP HISTORY
I bought a wrecked 87 YJ and pretty much
lost my mind from there. I
"thought" It would be cool to
transplant a 4.0 from a 98 Grand Cherokee
into it and had no idea how much it really
involved. But I'm happy with the results
so far. I just hope I can get it to run!
