ABOUT ME
I've been all over the US, and lived in 4 states. Out of all of them, Florida is by far the best. I've seen many things in my 45 years of existence on this planet, and nothing surprises me anymore.

JEEP HISTORY
I've owned three Jeeps in my life. My 84
CJ-7, a 1988 Cherokee Laredo, and a 2001,
Grand Cherokee.I bought my Jeep CJ in
1992. After owning it for a couple of
months, it caught fire on my birthday
while eating dinner at a restaurant. The
fire department came and put it out, but
everything from the dashboard forward was
a total loss. We towed it home and my
Father-in-law helped me tear everything
apart and rebuild it. After 6 months of
work, I had it running and everything
working again. In 1999, the body was so
rusted from Wisconsin winters that it was
time to buy a fiberglass body and do
another restoration project. I did the
fiberglass body by myself except for
lifting the body onto the frame. $5000
later, I had a new Jeep. I moved to
Florida 4 years ago, and sold it to a
friend. The loan and title was still in my
name until he had it paid off. After 2
years of on and off payments being made, I
finally repossessed it, and trucked it to
Florida. It was in pretty decent shape,
except for a transmission bearing that was
shot, a motor that hadn't been run in 2
years, and a set of flat tires. I
bought a set of tires, rebuilt the
transmission, and am in the process of
rebuilding the motor.

I'm not sure what tomorrow will bring, but it can't be any worse than what I've already been through.
