JEEP HISTORY
First Jeep was an '88 YJ, dead-on-arrival
with a cracked head. Did a 4.0 head
conversion and put a Superlift 4"
kit on right away. 33" BFG's
followed, and the body & floors were
patched up. Tremclad paint job and I was
hooked. '91 Toyota 4Runner, 3"
body, 35's with a winch got me farther in,
but the body rotted off. Sold to a
farmer '95 4Runner, winch made it was
on, so did a wicked OBA system, but never
did a lift or tires. Got bored &
wanted a Wrangler again Just found a
'91 Renegade near by. 4" Rough
Country already in it. Complete frame-off
rebuild using other frame and tub. BDS
4" springs, 35" BFG's, 8.8
locker rear, custom body armour and 12K
winch. Now sold.
