JEEP HISTORY
I've owned two jeeps, everyone on my dads
side of the family had jeep so I thought
they were the rugged of the rugged when it
came to off-road; I had to have one! Im in
the army as well, so I want my vehicle to
be able to take me wherever I may want to
go! My first jeep was an '86 Cherokee two
door with a 2.6L V6 and a three speed
automatic transmission. Now this thing was
fun off-road but damn was it a slug on
wheels on the hardball. I got deployed
with army to iraq and when i got home with
plans to hook up my jeep into a formidable
offroad rig!! Well that did last cuz a
week after being home I blew the engine up
on a side of a mountain in western
Maryland driving east from Morgantown, WV.
I wasn't rebuilding this motor but I loved
the jeep, I had to replace her! So I
started looking and found a 1994 ZJ with
56k on the motor, for and eleven year old
jeep I was impressed so I bought her, 6000
cash outright and here I am, a few
performance parts in, a replaced trans and
a bunch of other replaced mechanically
failed parts and I'm ready to hook her
up!! Er, after my upcoming deployment
again lol!!
