My first ZJ was a 4.0 because my father
wouldn't let me get a V8. Then after some
time on JF I learned that the V8 isn't any
worse on gas. After spending $3k in
repairs after a few months (lemon?) I
picked up a V8 WJ from a friend for $2k in
01/07. It was in BAD mechanical shape but
it had the V8, tow package, and no rust or
dents. Since then I have spent $14,000 on
repairs/mods.
