| Little Buckaroo 10/21/2009 8:43 AM I was planning on using the engine
oil for SC. I plan to remove the
oil pan due to a small leak in the
rear gasket, while I have it off I
was planning on welding a 3/8" X
1" X 2" strip of metal on the oil
pan above the oil line, this
would give me some area to tap the
threads into. I’m concerned about
the vibration causing a leak on
the connection if I just punch a
hole. I read that a closed loop
system requires a little more
maintainers. Why not put the oil
return line in the valve cover? I
installed a vortech SC on my 94
F-150 5.0L, and the return line
was in the valve cover, drove it
35,000 miles no problems. |

| | Little Buckaroo 10/20/2009 9:41 AM Hi are you doing, How the
supercharger running?
I'll getting close to start my
Supercharger project. Plan to
order from Avenger, did your's
come with the UnChip?
Plan to run 3.5 PSI for now,
question; do you think I need to
have a fuel management system and
OBD-II reader & wideband o2 sensor
with this system? Did you remove
your oil pan to install the return
line? You can leave a comment or
send me e-mail @
johnnybj55@yahoo.com Thanks |
