Thanks, will keep that in mind, I currently have 3.25" pulley. I was wrong on the compression, its 9:51-1. Pick up the jeep Monday, and Tuesday started collecting log data (Im using Innovated Motorsport OT-2, and have a MTX-L A/F R gauge), 500 1000 rpm it idles rough, running rich, above that it seems to be running smooth. Plan to make changes to the fuel table in the Splitsec, what is you low and high on the Timing? I want to get it close to right before going to the dyno shop. Will keep you posted. Thanks for your help

Thanks for the info.
Had some delays from HESCO, engine should be in by the end of this week. Bennie w/ HESCO also recommended a 2000 stall Torque convertor. Bennie told me that the 4.5 stroke, alm. heads, roller rockers, cam, should be 270 HP without the SC, he set up the compression 8.2-1 for the SC. Piston are 4032 material. I'll need to run 4 - 5 PSI of boost.
I had finished setup the split sec software and MTX-L Wideband O2 Digital Air-fuel Ratio Gauge, when engine failed. The avenger SC has a 3-1/4" pulley. Jack w/ avenger keeps tell me about 4 - 5 not sure I belive him, with what you're saying.
I bought OT-2 from Innovate Motorsports to help set up the new motor fuel and timing. Great stuff.
Yep, same here, haven't been checking this e-mail too often.

One more.
How much bost are you running now, what is the size of the pulley
Thanks

Hi, lost compression on three pistons. Electric fan thermostat went out, over heated, looked like the engine pre detonated due to the heat and melted the corner of the pistons.
Fixing to get the 4.5 engine with the aluminum head, with HESCO. What kind of HP and torque are you putting out with your set up? Any word or wisdom going foward?
Thanks John

Thanks. Yep had the key on. The cable came from Radio Shack. My son sent e-mail last night, he has a old t-60 with a serial port on it. Will be able to hook the straight through 9 pin cable. Should have by early next week. Good luck with your transmission problem.

Install the splitsec fuel/calibrator, bought a serial to usb cable from Radio shack (GigaWare), hook it up and not having any luck communicating with FTC. Talked with Splitsec and they told me that some cables work and other don't. Which brand cable did you use. Seems you're the most knowledgeable about this.
Thanks for your help John.

I was planning on using the engine oil for SC. I plan to remove the oil pan due to a small leak in the rear gasket, while I have it off I was planning on welding a 3/8" X 1" X 2" strip of metal on the oil pan above the oil line, this would give me some area to tap the threads into. Im concerned about the vibration causing a leak on the connection if I just punch a hole. I read that a closed loop system requires a little more maintainers. Why not put the oil return line in the valve cover? I installed a vortech SC on my 94 F-150 5.0L, and the return line was in the valve cover, drove it 35,000 miles no problems.

Hi are you doing, How the supercharger running?
I'll getting close to start my Supercharger project. Plan to order from Avenger, did your's come with the UnChip?
Plan to run 3.5 PSI for now, question; do you think I need to have a fuel management system and OBD-II reader & wideband o2 sensor with this system? Did you remove your oil pan to install the return line? You can leave a comment or send me e-mail @ johnnybj55@yahoo.com Thanks
