I just got my 1979 CJ 5 about two weeks
ago from a guy that had it in college. I
got into jeep from when I was a kid living
in the Auburn Cal. My dad would take me on
his jeep trip/jamborees in the Sierra
Nevada Mountains or to the local hill
climbs in Foresthill Cal. I drove a CJ5
from El Toro Air Station Cal to Aberdeen
Proving Ground Md. in 1983 and then sold
it to a guy who took it to Ohio. So I want
one ever since I sold the first one after
20 years and two wives my current wife
told me to get one so I did and that how I
got here.
