I did sell the Rubi, actually about 2 years ago. Bought a cheap Xterra to try to curb my spending habits. That didn't last long, I can't exist without a Jeep. Luckily I stumbled upon a once-in-a-lifetime deal this past February on a 2007 Unlimited Sahara with only 14K miles. A lady in Baltimore was retiring and wanted to downsize. She never drove it, never even had anyone sit in the backseat! Just wanted to sell it for what she owed which was an absolute steal for me...I couldn't pass it up. So now I'm back in a Jeep but trying to be moderate at the moment, I have a wedding to pay for in 2012 :)

No problem Nate, just been waiting for the winter to go away, the first day of Spring was last Sunday and its snowed 3 times since, I can't win. Hopefully warm weather will start up next week. For christmas I got a Superwinch and mount plate, RC MML and 1.25" Body Lift. Planning ahead for a set of new wheels and 33" tires by the end of this year or beginning of next year. I looked into spacers but I think i'm going to go with new wheels with more backspacing over the Ravine's, just don't like the idea of putting more stress than I already do with spacers on my axle's.

No problem, damn, sounds like you've been busy, i've actually been hanging back on jeep parts. I bought a SuperWinch winch plate over the summer really cheap (girlfriend is getting me a winch for Christmas) and plan on doing a body/mml lift over the winter. Now i'm trying to figure out putting the winch/plate on the front end, all the extra weight might need a set of spacers on the shocks to compensate. I had a set of the RC spacers, my uncle who's a mechanic told me they would put a lot of stress on the axles, so i sold them, I too love my Ravine's but I think next year when i get a set of 33's i'd be better off getting a set of Cragar's with more backspacing.

How did the herculining work out, i have been looking into doing this myself some day. What MML did you go with, i'm thinking of getting some brown dog's? Overall gotta watch my spending, we're in the middle of buying a new house and I pre-ordered a new motorcycle which is due for delivery in December/January, lol.

Going to Rausch Creek October 23rd, you should come out!

You ever go wheeling up in the Allegheny National Forest in McKean County? I grew up in Kane PA and there are some great trails up there. My wife and I are spending a PSU weekend on the 16th and 17th. Its been a little while since we were back up to school.

thats weird a 2' would mess a jeep up but not a 2.5 unless you met to say 3'. I would adore bigger tires but my problem is i just spent like almost 900 on new tires. Im just iffy to spend alot on a BB because I just keep wanting to go bigger with everything already ha .. & I try to work on my jeep but its tough but im pretty handy with rust to primer!

Its funny how CJ is so much cheaper to buy stuff for over My tj..
Im waiting on a leaner I ordered for like 85 with shipping from littleredjeep.com It was cheap I figured Id wait for a stinger when I get a good bumper.. To build on. from what ive read i feel like i can do a BB on my own but when you get in with all the coil lift it just gets confusing ha. itd be nice just to replace my coils their rusted and it looks like the black ones bend better that come with the kits.. stock just looks like a rusted none bending . But I think i could replace my springs though with a inch bigger maybe then my stock springs just for safety reasons. Im actually replacing my serp belt tommorow. it always seems like i want everything perfect or im not happy haha I havent found a decent priced BB thats 3' or 2.5 yet. I figure i can add a BL or coil spring lift later on when i want bigger tires for the extra lift if that even makes sense I just pretty much guess what will work now ha
