I bought my first Jeep in 2007 after my
1984 Chevrolet Silverado with 6.2 diesel's
transmission died. The truck had 325,000
miles on it and I was driving back and
forth to college, about a 100 mile round
trip, on a daily basis. I decided I needed
something more reliable. I went to the
Jeep dealership just for laughs thinking I
wouldn't be able to afford one, next thing
I knew, I was driving off the lot in my
Jeep. I used to have a 1963 Jeep Willys
pickup that I had intended on fixing up,
but the money was never there. I ended up
selling that to someone that had the extra
money to play with.
