JEEP HISTORY
I've always wanted a CJ7, so a few years
back I purchased one bone stock from a
friend of mine. When I purchase the jeep
it had 15" bullet hole wheels on it
with 31x10.50 tires. It came with a
4cylinder engine. The jeep was sitting
for a while so the first thing I had to do
is drop the gas tank, change it out, run
some fuel through it, and get the carb
cleaned up. Since then I have put
20" custom status wheels on the jeep
with 35x12.50 tires, and a 6"
suspension lift. I just finished up
swaping the 4cylinder out for a 258
engine. The new engine is bored .030, has
a mild cam, offenhauser intake, holley 390
carb, headman header, MSD offroad 6
ignition system with distributer and coil,
and the exhaust consist of 2 flowmaster 40
series mufflers (sounds like a beast).
I've also installed a custom stereo system
that consist of 4 6.5" plk audio wake
board tower speakers lined up across the
roll bar. I still have a lot to do to his
old jeep but I am enjoying the project so
far!
