I am 17 and i got a jeep as my first car!
I have always loved jeeps. It was my
favorite hotwheels car when i was a kid
and i even had that powerwheels jeep(no
not the barbie one) too!
My first jeep i
got was already lifted 4" and had
35" tires, dana 35 rear and 30 front
axles(not sure if that's stock or not),
upgraded power steering, and bunch of
other stuff. So i do not really know
specifics on that. I have receipts though!
The only thing that I have actually done
myself is installed a winch and a better
spare tire carrier so far.
I bought
this jeep for $8800 with 124000 miles on
it and got to about 130000 miles before i
blew my engine. It was because of my bad
gas. I found out that the gas station i
[used to] get my gas from watered their
gas down and that's why it was so cheap
all the time.... But i now have a new,
completely rebuilt engine with a nice
100000 mile warranty so i don't think ill
have to worry about that for a while
now.
Once i save up enough i want to
buy a stock JK and build it up myself so i
can know exactly what's in my car. I have
always liked working mechanically but my
career is going to be in computer
programming so I haven't had much time to
learn about any car-related topics.
