My dad started heading to the Easter Jeep
Safari when I was 1 year old. He started
in an '83 F-150, then moved to an '84
Bronco, and finally stopped with a '95 YJ.
We have gone to Moab at least 4-5 a year,
and love every minute of it.
I am on my
second rig, in high school I had a sweet
'95 XJ with a 4.5" lift and 33"
BFG Muds. I sold the XJ and went on an
LDS mission.
Upon returning from the
mission (within 24 hours) I snagged a 2000
TJ. It was a wrecked TJ with 47,000 miles
on it, other than the smashed fender and
bent lower control arm it was in great
shape. I bought it for $5,400.
