This is my third Jeep, I have also had a
1952 CJ3A & a 1986 CJ7. Both were
getting completely rebuilt when for one
reason or another they went away. My
current Jeep, a 1997 TJ is the first Jeep
that I have owned that actually drove when
I bought it.
I have always been into
anything with an engine but got into Jeeps
back in 1997 my junior year of high
school. My best friend at the time had an
1984 CJ7. He hated it as it only went
50mph down the road & the heater was
bad (a big deal in Alaska) but once he
let me drive it offroad I fell in love
with Jeeps. Before Jeeps I was strictly a
full size Chevy man having had a few
lifted trucks in my day. Now I keep my DD
(08 duramax) stock & have the Jeep to
wheel in. Now that I have the means to
build the kind of Jeep I want it is time
for the transformation to begin.
I am newish to the Northshore area of
Louisiana & am looking for people to
go wheeling with as I have not found any
spots that are worth much.
