| Caruso 06/29/2009 7:10 AM Its all about the prep man. Make
sure you sand it all down and
clean it with acetone and a rag...
USE LATEX GLOVES!!! that******is
no good to get on your skin. You
dont want that lol. After all is
cleaned and ready to go start with
a brush and start dabbing the HERC
into all the corners and edges.
Have a drill with a stirring end
thing on it to keep all the flakes
of HERC mixed in and not settling
to the bottom of the can. That
part is really important. Once you
get in all the crevaces and
whatnot then you can start rolling
it on. But like i said keep it
mixed up and only put a little bit
in your paint roller pan at a
time. Let it dry for a half hour
or so and go with coat 2. If i
were you i would get two extra
quarts. Your jeep is alot bigger.
I only used the gallon and really
wish i would have done another
coat or two with an extra quart.
IT looks liek u have plenty on
there but if its thin it will wear
off over time. At the bare bare
minimum for your jeep i would use
at least a gallon plus a quart.
Optimally i would use 1.5 gallosn
total. |
