| jeepkween 03/24/2009 10:01 PM Oh.. The bumper was on my Jeep
when I got it. I'm pretty sure
it's custom made from the guy I
bought it from, mostly because I
haven't seen anything like it
anywhere. |
|
| | Kraxen 03/24/2009 8:20 PM probably was lol i saved you from
the headache of all the problems i
had to repair if you were gonna
buy it |
|
| | jeepkween 03/23/2009 1:41 PM Not much.. how about you? |
|
| | Kraxen 03/23/2009 7:38 AM yup on the albany craigslist. i
was searching for the right jeep
in my price range and it looked
brand new and i drove 2 hours to
look at it and it had a little
surface rust on the windshield
frame and on the driver side
fender. seemed to run good and
everything the frame looked solid
so i was like sweet ill buy it. so
i bought it and picked it up a few
days later. come to find out the
4x4 actuator on the front axle
didnt work so i had to 4x4 until i
rigged that up. 3 days after
putting it on the road the motor
blew up but luckily my brother had
another motor so we swapped that
in that weekend. i scrapped the
undercoating off the frame and it
has a few wholes behind the rear
shackles. after i put the lift in
both rear shock mounts ripped off
the frame so this past weekend i
had to fab up new ones. it runs
great now but i wish i woulda
waited longer to find one but it
was an impulse buy and i was
impatient to get a jeep lol. all
in all i am happy with it now that
ive got majority of the problems
worked out. lol sorry about the
story i had to vent about it |
