JEEP HISTORY
Had my 96 ZJ since October 2005. Owned a
lifted 97 LTD ZJ that I wheeled for a
while then I went to an Explorer. I just
recently picked up at 78 CJ7 that I
replaced the engine on and did some other
work to that I sold in the Spring. I just
recently purchased a 2008 loaded WK with
the 4.7.

Well where I live it is less than 2 hours to Wellsville. So I stick with that, there is more to do out that way anyways. That and I wouldn't have to deal with certain people affiliated with jeepskool.

You are welcome to join us in wellsville if you can make the trip.

I've got yankee lake truck night about 10 miles from me, it's not much, but it's something, I just got my Jeep running right, so once I decide to step it up a bit, I'll head down to Wellsville, which is about an hour away

Believe me... I've heard of it. You won't be seeing me there anytime soon.

Prolly a good thing I didn't attend JeepSkool last time around. My water pump just gave out Friday. Gave no warning or anything, just started it up and heard all sorts of racket under the hood and the sound of bubbles gurgling through the dash. Got it all replaced today, along with new hoses, belt, and thermostat so I'm in good shape again. Still need to flush out the brake fluid but that's about all it needs to be trail ready.

I know...I suck...I don't even have recovery shackles yet! I'm gonna get some this week and finally get my brake fluid changed then I'll get with my SO and get something in the works. We're supposed to do a lot of camping this summer so I need to round up all my gear anyway.

Which pick-and-pull you hittin' up? I don't have anything pressing on the calendar tomorrow if you don't mind me tagging along. I don't really need anything at the moment but I do like browsing!

And I'll ask the Mrs. about going to JeepSkool the weekend of the 6th (we don't have kids that weekend and I'm not sure if she already has plans for us). I'd actually like to do it some weekend when we DO have the kids cuz I know my son would really dig it.

Yeah, that's ONE of the 2-hour away spots! There ain't sh!t around Columbus. My coworker from Rootsville also wants to get a group together and go to Haspin Acres if you're interested.

The fam and I are looking into it. I am definitely going to do it sometime this year. I just need to get some disconnects for the swaybars and some recovery shackles. I'd also prefer to wait until I can get the brake and tranny fluid replaced.

I saw that some of you were going this month. Did you just go this weekend? Are you planning another trip sometime soon?
