ABOUT ME
What's up? The name is Kyle if you
didn't know, I'm 18, and just
finished my time at Bedford High
School. I'm currently employed at
Kroger #864 as a File Clerk. I'm
also involved in the Bedford Fire
Rescue Explorers as Treasurer and
Chief of the post. Next Fall I'm
planning on going to UT (for
basically free) to study Civil
Engineering, with emphasis on
transportation. Currently, I drive
a '96 Jeep Grand Cherokee that is
lifted with 2.5" OME Springs,
Pro-Comp MX6 Adjustable shocks,
and rides on new 30/9.5/15 General
Grabber AT2 meats. When i'm not
stuck at school, studying, working
or any combination of the 3, I can
be found doing something outside
or with my friends. I love to go
skiing (water and downhill), off
roading, camping, fishing,
paintballing, and four-wheeling,
as well as wrenching on my or a
friends Jeep. Even though I don't
get as much free time as i'd like,
I try to make the best out of what
I get. I listen to just about
every type of music except for a
lot of rap and get along with
pretty much anyone. I don't have
1000 friends, but I do have a hand
full of close friends to be there
whenever I need them. If you want
to know anything else, comment or
IM me (FireRescueDude47).

My 96 ZJ was purchased from a friend in
High School. He was looking to get
something newer and my dad was looking to
get a first car for me. I wanted something
pretty much like my ZJ - offroad
capability but still nice onroad features.
Yes, this means my dad bought it, but I
pay for 99% of the work done to it.

Well, I ordered my lift tonight. Just sent the paypal
payment to Kolak. Just North of $650 total.
I got:
OME 2" lift springs all around to replace my stock ones
with 163k
MX6 Adjustable Shocks to replace my stock ones with
163k too
Gonna put it on March 18th, day after we lift
smrtjustin's XJ.
Might also get the OME Steering Stabilizer in the
future if I have issues. I also ordered some tools a
few days ago and a new hood release cable. Also
ordering new brakes (not sure what route i'm going yet)
this weekend. I'm also going to get 30" or 31" General
Grabber AT2s to round off my lift in about 4-5 weeks.
Then adding a CB setup and Tranny Cooler before the end
of May. I'm taking it to Silver Lake and a few other
places to off road in early June on my vacation.
Later in the future, I'd like to fix my rust (get
POR-15 kit most likely), paint the cladding with Krylon
Fusion, and perform a few other cosmetic upgrades.
Later later (like 2.5-3 years from now, unless my ZJ
dies sooner), I want to buy a 99/00 XJ to replace it if
I can find one with around 50-75k on the clock.
Wish me luck!
I plan on posting to both my thread (http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/showthre
ad.php?t=526463 ) and blog when I do things other
than everyday work to my ZJ....
