JEEP HISTORY
My first adventure Jeeping was when I was
10 years old. My father and I went
Jeeping with another family of experienced
Jeepers and I have been hooked ever
since. The first Jeep I purchased was a
bone-stock CJ7 Renegade, I was 20 years
old. I have had several Jeeps some I
built up and then later in life some I
left pretty much stock. With three
teenage, growing boys I only had my last
Jeep (2007 JKU), for eleven months before
getting a full size crewcab. That truck
is still here, but the Jeep bug never went
away. After three years I came across the
deal of a lifetime (aren't they all?), and
picked-up a very well built TJ. It
was stretched 15 inches, similarly to the
CJ-6, so it has been thoughtfully called a
TJ-6. The previous owner is a Jeep
enthusiast, and mechanical genius. He and
his business partner built a Jeep that I
never would have had the skill to do.
