First Jeep was 1987 Wrangler YJ, Red.
Purchased it at 18, brand new. It caught
fire 3 years later (spontaneous
combustion). I then went Jeep-less for
about 12 years when I finally got the TJ
pictured above. My fiance (soon to be my
wife), totalled it after skidding on black
ice in Vermont (we hit a Peterbilt truck,
not a scratch on us, but the Jeep was
totalled).
Finally I got my new 1997
TJ Sahara at the urging of said fiance who
insisted "John without a Jeep is not
complete"...and she is right, and
that is why I love her despite the fact
that she totalled my Jeep lol.
