JEEP HISTORY
My father drove an 87 Cherokee Limited
when I was fairly young. As I got older
we decided to restore a 78 CJ7 which was a
lot of fun, but also a lot of work. Later
when my brother got older we got a deal on
a 96 ZJ and used it for wheeling and daily
driving. I found a 5spd XJ and used it
for a DD for a while. I DD'd and wheeled
a 97 TJ Sport for a while. We had so
much fun with the 96 ZJ that we did the
Grand Cherokee again with a 2000 WJ. It
was a high mileage rig we bought from a
friend. It had Quadra-drive but now has a
231 T-case, JK Rubicon wheels and tires,
front tow points and a 1"
lift. Most recently I picked up a 2007
Wrangler Sahara Unlimited. It is now
sporting 285 70 R 17 Fierce Attitude MTs
on JK Moabs.

delete some messages! heres what I was attempting to PM you...

I didn't keep track of much, but I'll tell you what I can. the two main places I was hitting in the front was the rocker panel and the "inner fender" on the front, right behind the the headlight. I cut the rocker no big deal, the inner fend area is a bit more tricky its more of trial and error, basically cutting, hammering, and yelling go a long way. the rears were difficult if you haven't trimmed fenders before, if I had to go back I would've precut them better or just cut them instead of rolling alltogether. The pinch welds are obviously the first to be hammered flat after that just flex a little and you can see where the tires hitting or heading towards. Good luck send me a link to some pics when you finish!

are you going with 33s or what? 33s are going to be touch without doing some tubbing in the rear, with no lift. The best advice I can give you that you can actually use is take your time and don't be timid.
oh and I used an angle grinder with a cut off wheel, which was wonderful and has a lot of control.

oh and thanks for the compliments, us LCOG grands are few and far between.
