JEEP HISTORY
I bought my CJ when I was in the eighth
grade, it was my "first car".
Originally, I bought it to take the top
off and cruise around town, plus I was
always a fan of them. Well, long story
short(er), the bug bit me and I was hooked
in no time at all. First you need tires,
you buy good tires. Then you want lift and
bigger tires.......then you get into real
wheeling and the list goes on and on! It's
not huge but it's lifted, locked, and
capable enough for a broke college
student. I'm getting the itch to build a
trail toy for myself. I enjoy wheeling the
CJ but it's too sentimental to tear up or
modify too much. However, I will get
another CJ or Wrangler! I bought myself
a little '98 TJ with a 4 banger that I
drove until this summer when it and I had
a one on one with a drunk driver in a
pickup, my TJ was totaled and I almost
was. I woke up two weeks later, spent a
little over a month in the hospital, and
was hamburger from the waist up. Another
long story short, I went out and bought a
'00 TJ that is the spitting image of the
first one except it's got the 4.0L. People
thought I'd be scared of Jeeps and not
want to drive them
anymore..............hahahahaha yeah
right! Now I'm back in my Jeeps and back
on the trails! (update) I haven't
checked in lately and have a little more
to add. The '00 that I had was lifted and
rollin' on 33s this spring but was sold in
June (I miss it!) due to a long story.
However, I found a '99 TJ in a nearby
salvage yard that had been totaled. With a
little TLC and a lot of excitement, it is
now back on the road! It has a long way to
go to be "finished" but it's
able to have a new lease on life just as I
have had. -OlllllO-

Yeah I've gone through a few of the old mining areas and stuff like that... But really, no need to be jealous lol. REALLY. Although Kansas doesn't seem like a place I'd like to live either. I'm a really big fan of getting away and going to the mountains too... LOVE Telluride!
