JEEP HISTORY
I have been into Jeeps since I was 5 and
saw my first CJ-7 with it's doors off. My
dad said it looks dangerous and I knew I
had to have one. At last count I have
owned 7 Jeeps in the last 10 years. My
first was a 4cyl YJ Rio Grande and I loved
it. Then an XJ mild lift etc, 6cyl YJ mild
lift etc, stock xj Sport (wifes), CJ7 with
an LT1 dropped in (still my favorite and
still have), 02 Liberty 4" lift 32's
(wifes current DD), and my new to me TJ to
be build for a daily driver weekend
wheeler. While I have owned a bunch of
Jeeps and currently own three I have
limited experience working on them. I
spend a lot of time researching on
jeepforum and that has helped immensley.
In the last year friends and I have
tackled a few lift kits, brake jobs,
tune-up's, and other odds and ends. If
I can unbolt a part and rebolt it I'm
usually all right. IT's the rest I am
still learning.
