This is my first Jeep. I have really
always like the Cherokee, but for the last
10 years or so I have done the
performance, street racing thing. I have
owned several mustangs and several tuned
imports. However, I always grew tired of
these vehicles in 6-12 months. Of course,
after sticking thousands of dollars into
them. I looked back at all the vehicles I
have owned and the most fun I had was with
my winter beater trucks. So finally in
Feb. 2009 I said screw it and went to find
a 4x4 SUV. I narrowed it down to a late
90's Cherokee or 4Runner. I was very
close to signing the papers on a $9000
1999 4Runner when I came across a 98
Cherokee with a 3" lift in pretty
good shape for $3800...that was it, I was
sold and now a beautiful Jeep resides in
my driveway.
