I first drove a Jeep Cherokee when
shopping for my first car back in 1997.
It was bright red, and way out of my
teenage budget. I bought a Saturn. The
Cherokee was going to be my first new
vehicle, when I was ready to buy one.
Then in '01 they stopped being produced
and my dreams were shattered. The Saturn
lived long and treated me well until some
a$$hole totaled it while it sat parked on
the street in the spring of '07. I was
financially ready to buy a new vehicle,
but realized my dream of owning of
Cherokee was too great to overcome. After
all, they weren't getting any younger.
Found a '01 with a salvage title (stolen)
with only 55,000 miles and in near mint
condition. It is the greatest.
