JEEP HISTORY
This is my first Jeep. I was introduced
to the Jeep when my first guitar teacher
Joe (whoever and whereever you are, thank
you!) back in 1976. His was an early 70's
brown-ish rust color with a series of
pinstripes going front to rear along the
bottom edge of the body along the wheel
well and where the rocker panel is. I
loved going with him as a youngster. He
was the coolest! and he drove a Jeep. So
I waited, and waited till I could get one
and now I do. 2008 JKUS. No badging.
new bumpers. custom lighting and
switches (got them to work in the center
dash pod. Looks stock! custom homemade
storage in cargo area. All my mods are by
me as I'm broke. They meet my needs and
activities. I love sharing. and helping
if I can. Pay it forward. Second set
of Duratrac 275 70 18. works for me on
the sand here on Long Island. 2"
Teraflex leveling kit. 1.5" RC
spacers (liked that they are smae material
as spidertrax but plain aluminum color to
not stand out. As with many, so many
more things to want to do, but $$$ is the
limiting factor. So I do it myself when I
can and within my limited skills. skills
and ideas are there, tools and time are
really what's limited. see ya around,
Jeeprs!
