Always wanted a Cherokee but HATED the gas
mileage - even the 4X2's. I followed the
development of the Compass and Patriot for
a year before they debuted and really
liked the Compass. Took delivery of my
black 4X4 in July, 2007 and LOVE it!
Mileage is not as I hoped but better than
most others in this class. Did a factory
order two months earlier to get exactly
what I wanted and saved money too. Can't
beat that. This is my first Jeep and if
it keeps up as well as it has been I may
never want to replace it.
