JEEP HISTORY
I bought this Jeep from the Chevy
dealership I work at. I happened to walk
by our wash pit and they were washing it
up to send to the auction for wholesale. I
looked it over pretty good asked them how
much they wanted for it and made a deal
with them. I wish I had found it a long
time ago. Not long after buying it I
traded in my 04 Silverado I had done a lot
of work to and had over 100000 miles less
than the Jeep. I bought it with 241XXX
miles on it. I appears it has set up for
the most part over at least the last 5
years because the last known mileage with
Chrysler was 220XXX in 2007. It needed a
lot of work. I had to replace the rear
brake pads and rotors, rebuild the rear
differential, fix the LR window regulator,
fix the backlights (none worked at all due
to shorted wire going to VIC and destroyed
supply driver in BCM), rebuild the
steering gear, fix a front turn signal
bulb socket, replace the rear driveshaft
U-joints, replace the RF axle shaft after
bending the ears while attempting to
replace just the joint (the joint was
REALLY in there), replaced both front sway
bar end links and bushings, reupholstered
headliner, and fix one extremely
aggravating waterleak on the passenger
front floorboard (actually about 4
different leaks from seperate locations).
Biggest waterleak coming from the cowl
area where the HVAC module (airbox) fresh
air intake tube protrudes.
